Andre Courreges (born March 9 1923 in Pau) is a French fashion designer, known for his ultra-modern designs. A fashion house noted for its designs for young persons, founded in Paris in 1971 by André Courrèges who has since also become involved in the designing of accessories, interiors and automobiles.

The fragrance division Courrèges Perfume, launched the company’s first perfume Empreinte in 1971 (it was received in 1995). This was followed by Eue de Courrèges(73), Amerique(74), Courrèges in blue(83), Sweet Courrèges(94) and a men fragrance Niagara(95), the three latter of these available in the UK. The company was owned for a period by L’Oreal, but is now not a part of Dipac- Courrèges, a French group.
